Target Practice is published by MAJATECH (contact: shooting@majatech.pl). This policy explains what data we process and why.

In short

Your sessions, target photos and recordings never leave your device. You create no account and give us no personal data. The only things that go out are fetching app settings and anonymous statistics of which app features get used.

1. Data processed on the device only

Stored in the app's local database, never transmitted:

• Training sessions — shots, scores, notes, statistics.
• Target photos and video from the camera or gallery — hit detection runs entirely on your phone.
• Microphone audio — used live to detect the moment of a shot. No recording is uploaded; only short clips tied to individual shots are saved, locally.
• Watch and EEG headband data — heart rate, wrist motion, focus level. Received over Bluetooth straight from the device.

Uninstalling the app deletes this data.

2. The location permission — what it is really for

On Android the app asks for location access because Android itself requires that permission to scan for Bluetooth devices (the EEG headband, the watch). We do not collect, store or transmit your position. The app has no feature that uses location.

3. No account

The app creates no account and signs you in nowhere. Any purchased features are checked on your device directly by the App Store or Google Play — we run no server holding purchase data.

4. Remote configuration

The app fetches settings from Firebase Remote Config (which features are available). With such a request Google receives technical information about the installation — the app instance id, the version and the device type.

5. Usage statistics

Through Google Analytics for Firebase the app counts which features get used (e.g. starting a camera training, dry fire, a target scan) so we know what to improve. Google receives the app instance id, the version, the device type and the approximate country. No scores, shots, photos or recordings are sent. The app shows no ads, does not use the advertising identifier and does not track you across other apps.

6. Payments

The app is currently free and contains no active in-app purchases. Should we introduce them, they will be handled by the App Store or Google Play — we never receive your card details.

7. Data processors

• Google Firebase — remote configuration and usage statistics,
• Apple / Google — app distribution through the stores.

We pass data to no one else and we do not sell it.

8. What we do NOT do

• we do not upload your photos, recordings or results to any server,
• we do not collect location,
• we do not ask for an email address, name or phone number,
• we do not sell data and do not share it with data brokers.

9. Retention

Training data stays on your device for as long as you keep it there. Usage statistics are not linked to your identity. You can also write to shooting@majatech.pl.

10. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase and port your data (GDPR). Since we hold nothing that identifies you, in practice you retain full control on the device. Questions: shooting@majatech.pl.

11. Children

The app is not directed at anyone under 13.
